Salomon answered the question the age old question of "how do we make a trail shoe that is highly responsive, cushioned and reasonably priced." Salomon combined their energyFOAM midsole with a TPU energyBLADE speed plate creating exceptionally smooth transitions between foot strike and toe-off while remaining highly cushioned. The Pulsar Trail Pro 2 compared to other high cushioned trail models is nimble on technical downhills as well. This is a shoe trail runners in and around Salida, Co can rely upon during multitude of distances and trail terrain.

Combining EVA and Olefin [OBC] this midsole is responsive and soft. The Olefin block copolymers [OBC] are composed of alternating soft and hard blocks The soft blocks deliver flexibility and the hard blocks deliver compression resistance.
